It was such an experience being a part of a government program for small businesses. There were highs and lows and my favourite part was meeting my partner in the program @deolinda_ngcobo 😁 I love that I was able to teach myself a new skill and I love that we found a way to work together even far a part. As a country we have far to go in terms of the creative industry and supporting small businesses in development and funding but this was a start for me. I don’t know what’s next but I won’t be afraid to be seen trying.

March was an interesting month that had so many highs and lows for this little business but I literally put my nose to the grind stone or the sewing machine😅 After several attempts at applying for government funding and development programs, I finally got into one!🎉and it was an experience! They are so nostalgic for me but I have also made an effort to reduce the amount of waste i produce in this business and these cases were a result of that effort. So excited!
